Piyush Soni

He is working as an ESG and Compliance Assurance Consultant - who specializes in various project-specific research, literature reviews, proposal writing, and knowledge of various environmental aspects. Having joined the company recently, he has extensive experience in fields as a part of the Quality Council of India  (an autonomous body set up by the Ministry of commerce and industries). He has experience working with different Ministries (GOI) and Departments of the Union and State governments.

As part of his role, he supports Environmental & Social Due Diligence reports, Environmental Compliance, and a variety of training sessions and webinars.

In addition, he is pursuing a Ph.D. at Annamalai University's Centre of Advanced Studies Marine Biology & Oceanography. The areas of his research interest are Marine Pollution, Environment Pollution, Waste Management, and Environmental Law and Legislation.

Professional Qualifications: Ph.D. from CAS in Marine Biology & Oceanography at Annamalai University, Masters in Environment Management (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University)

Clients Served: Provided support in work for clients like COWI, Telema Electricals Pvt. Ltd., Chakr Innovations and DCDC.

Thus far, he is enjoying his journey with #EGSS very much, learning a lot in an environment that is both fast-paced and dynamic. I'm excited to be part of EGSS Team projects in ESG, EHSS, Due Diligence, Waste Management, and Environmental Audits!
